I am a copywriter, a content strategist, a creative, and the founder of Wordwoman Creative.
I’ve always had a love of writing and creativity, which is probably why my dad gave me the nickname Wordwoman. He would call me “Wordwoman” whenever he needed writing help. In fact, he’s the reason I became a copywriter and the inspiration behind the name, Wordwoman Creative.
My dad was an inventor and a brilliant orthodontist, and my mom was the genius behind the genius, running the show with care and brilliance. Together, they inspired each other to go further.
Their creative and entrepreneurial spirit is what made me write in my senior memory book, “In the future, I will own my own ad agency.” While it took me a little while to fulfill my 17-year-old self’s dream, I’m so thankful Wordwoman Creative copywriting is here to help beauty and lifestyle brands grow and flourish.
I studied advertising at the University of Florida and Miami Ad School, before beginning my career in promotional advertising. For over two decades, I've had the privilege of creating concepts, strategies, and content for brands such as Coca-Cola, Lancome, Galderma, Jaguar, and many more.
I also spent five years as a beauty and lifestyle blogger, which is where I furthered my passion for indie brands. I love supporting my fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners. It’s another part of the reason why I started Wordwoman Creative copywriting.
I’ve always seen the world a bit differently. When I was a kid, I used to think it made me weird, but I now know it’s my superpower. My view of things is actually what makes me perfect for advertising. I love letting my imagination and love of words run free, all while creating standout work for beauty and lifestyle brands.
I believe in telling a great story. I believe in taking chances. I believe in creating unique brand experiences. I believe building a relationship with your consumers is a top priority. I believe there is always a way to make dreams happen.
